In 1994, AmFAR asked CGA to create the case
statement for the first endowment campaign in its history.
Overcoming flagging public interest in the AIDS epidemic and
donor fatigue, the case we conceived entitled Is
There Reason to Hope? renewed the commitment
of existing donors and reached out to new sources of support.
In three years, the campaign exceeded its $76 million goal.
Our copy and graphic solutions sparked reason to hope for
breakthroughs in AIDS research. Furthermore, they provided
the first comprehensive expression of AmFARs mission,
vision and history, detailing the organizationss critical
role in the battle against AIDS from day one.
We designed the case statements central brochure, Is
There Reason to Hope?, to stand alone as an identity/capabilities
brochure or combine with a matching campaign-specific brochure,
Creating Reasons to Hope, in a pocket folder.
